I sat under the bright lights of the urgent care room and told my mother to leave. The unexperienced nurse did two IV's when i was only supposed to ahve one, and it took double the amount of time. SHe finally got it right and as the drugs slipped into my body i felt more alone than ever. i don't know what it was. maybe it was when my father came in the room and turned the lights off because he KNEW it would comfort me. maybe as a lay on my stomach he tickled my back like he used to when i was 7. maybe it was because of the chemotherepy pills they gave me. Who knows. I've been sleeping on the couch for two days now and i feel weak. This isn't really helping me.
oh, and P.S- DON'T EAT AT BENIHANA IN DOWNTOWN SEATTLE.
